Summer—a word that smells of sunscreen and watermelon—making us patiently await its arrival, and disappearing all too soon. A word that means evenings that go on forever, music festivals, bike rides, and doing absolutely nothing by the pool. Take a moment to enjoy the last few days of warm weather to the fullest before your strength is needed to rake up leaves into little piles. To make the pre-fall transition easier, we’ve carefully selected a few essential pieces from our collections that will carry you through until your very last outings of the season.

Al fresco happy hour
What better way to mix business with pleasure than grabbing a cocktail (or two) with your co-workers? Go from meeting to martini with a winning combination: a striped or polka dot print jumpsuit. During the day, wear it with a jacket—a classic layer that should be removed as soon as the clock strikes 5:01—and just like that, you’re ready to hit the town. Its fluid fabric and just-right tailoring is sure to turn heads.

Dressed up: Pair it with classic pumps for a polished look and an elongating effect.

Dressed down: If lounging in the park is on the agenda, trade in your pumps for a flat sandal or delicate sneaker.

Museum tour
You just got out of the shower, but the heat wave already has you looking like you just ran five marathons in a row. It’s time to hit those air conditioned museum corridors to scope out new exhibits. What to wear? Opt for layers just in case the air is a little too crisp for your liking. We recommend a fluid top, capris, and a denim jacket to finish the look (one of our favourites is the white denim jacket by Simon Chang!). It’s practical & comfortable, without compromising style.

Brunch in the park
Why not spend next Sunday morning daydreaming, mimosa in hand, indulging in a casual breakfast in the park. Sounds lovely doesn’t it? What better way to channel your inner artist, than by picking a spot near the water and unloading your picnic basket—just as any famous painter would do. Opt for a lightweight dress that wears perfectly with sneakers or flat sandals. Add a pretty straw hat and oversized sunglasses to your look to protect yourself from the strong mid-morning rays.

The music festival
Blues, rock, jazz, classical, indie pop… Discover new artists while taking in the outdoors. We guarantee you’ll be reminiscing all winter long with your new favourite songs on repeat! Our fashion recommendation for combining fresh air and decibels? A versatile skort that will flatter your silhouette, as it combines the put-together look of a skirt with the comfort and mobility of shorts. Wear it with a simple tee and sandals, or flats if the mood strikes you. Now you’re ready to rock and make your way from stage to stage.

Bike riding along
Leaving with your bike for the day is a great way to discover new things at your own pace. Markets offering fresh local produce, laid-back country roads, nature trails… With your helmet tied tight, a floral top and the road ahead, we guarantee all your cares will fade away. It really is the best medicine to forget the work that will likely be waiting for you on your desk Monday morning. Here are some styles we recommend:

What are you planning for the final days of summer?
