Founded by Laura Wolstein and largely upheld by female trailblazers like her, Laura Canada places great emphasis on empowering women and encouraging them to be the best versions of themselves professionally, socially and personally.

This year, in honour of International Women’s Day, we’re thrilled to be partnering with Dress for Success® Montreal, a not-for-profit organization that recognizes women’s achievements globally. Ahead, you’ll get an inside look at how we’re collaborating with this incredible association that celebrates women, while demonstrating the power of providing a network of support.

1. Perfect Partnership

Because Laura is a predominantly women-led company, we understand the importance of working together. In partnering with Dress for Success®, we’re able to carry out our shared mission of inspiring women and helping them thrive in the workplace and beyond. As part of this combined initiative, we organized an exciting event for 10 exceptional women, which included a donation of workwear outfits and an expert styling session at our retail locations.

2. Makeovers, Professional Photoshoot & Inspirational Presentations

This March 8, Laura Canada is dedicating a full day to these 10 women, providing them with makeovers, taking professional photos of them for their LinkedIn profiles, and hosting inspirational talks relevant to day-to-day life. On the agenda: presentations by Sandra Rinaldi, Life Coach, Author & Speaker, and Laura Canada’s very own Vice-President of Merchandising, Regional Sales Director and Regional Manager.

3. Support Equals Success

A strong support system is vital to success. Having the necessary tools and resources to achieve one’s goals fosters a sense of security and belonging, as well as the confidence needed to thrive in all aspects of life and society. Therefore, we’re delighted to be joining forces with Dress for Success®, as we continue to celebrate women and their accomplishments today, and every day.
